About the position

At DICK’S Sporting Goods, the Teammate – Apparel helps create an engaging, confidence-building shopping experience by assisting athletes with apparel for performance and everyday life. The role provides customer service and product knowledge, supports merchandise presentation, and contributes to a collaborative, inclusive store environment.

Responsibilities

Greet teammates and athletes, proactively approach athletes to understand their needs, and support their shopping experience with helpful, accurate product knowledge and customer service.Maintain company merchandising and presentation standards, including floor sets, signage, price changes, inventory presentation, and replenishment.Promote company programs, including customer loyalty participation, warranty sales, and private-label credit card enrollment.Follow safety, loss-prevention, and standard operating policies and procedures, as well as applicable external laws and guidelines, including those of the Federal ATF.Help create an inclusive store environment where teammates and athletes feel welcome and safe and are treated with respect.Support the team across the store and perform other tasks as assigned.Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
