Job Title: Team Leader - Distribution Operations Schedule: Hiring 2 Team Leads - Thursday through Sunday 4:30pm to 3:00am and Friday through Monday 4:40pm to 3:00am The successful individual will leverage their proficiency to... · Manage volume flow, monitor inventory accuracy, support order fulfilment · Builds and manages effective teams to meet and exceed production targets on a daily basis · Coordinate daily tactical planning with other Team Leaders and Support Groups through problem solving and decision-making processes · Research issues with volume flow to identify and resolve root cause opportunities · Ensure all standard operating procedures and training documents are followed and updated as needed · Review staffing and monitor appropriate coverage is available to support volume and adjust accordingly · Develop bench strength to ensure sufficient resources available to handle all tasks in the department · Lead projects that will drive continuous improvement · Manage multiple tasks while maintaining daily operations · Assist the Business Unit Leader in preparation of the annual AOP and monthly LE review process · Facilitate and attend training for continuous technical and leadership skill development · Perform other duties per request or as assigned by the manager and demanded by business needs · Build strong relationships with corporate partners and vendors to maintain inbound/outbound volume targets · Involved in special projects, department enhancements and supports leadership as needed · Provides support to peers and manager as necessary The accomplished individual will possess... · High school diploma or equivalent · More than one year of experience in a clerical, customer service or related warehouse function · Intermediate Microsoft Office skills · Excellent verbal and written communication skills · Strong decision making, problem solving, organizational and follow up skills An outstanding professional will have... · College degree · Three or more years of support roles within Logistics, Distribution or related warehouse functions Our Competencies for All Employees Courage: Doesn’t hold back anything that needs to be said; provides current, direct, complete, and “actionable” positive and corrective feedback to others; lets people know where they stand; faces up to people problems on any person or situation (not including direct reports) quickly and directly; is not afraid to take negative action when necessary.
