TAX ANALYST

Overview Other Responsibilities Responsible for timely mailings of returns, filing, and copying for returns prepared in-house. Ensures that all annual reports and gross receipts tax returns are timely filed May be required to perform miscellaneous clerical functions Maintain and initiate business license applications for all stores Performs other related duties as assigned Education/Experience Required: The ideal candidate will be a high performer with a strong commitment to accuracy and theorganization skills necessary to manage workflow and meet deadlines. Communication skills are required to deal with all levels of the organization as well as taxauthorities. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Accounting or Finance Two to three years of sales tax-related work experience Working knowledge of Excel, Word, database applications Strong commitment to accuracy Good oral and written communication skills Ability to work as a team member Good 10-key and typing skills Sales tax research skills Knowledge of Infor ERP a plus Physical Requirements:The physical demands described here are representative of those that are required by an associate tosuccessfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distancevision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Ability to work in open environment with fluctuating temperatures and standard lighting. Ability to work on computer and mobile phone for multiple hours; with frequent interruptions. Required to travel in elevator or stairwells to attend meetings and engage with associates onmultiple floors throughout building.Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:This is a full-time position.
