Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Update weekly, monthly, and ad hoc customer KPI reporting and summarize findingsHelp answer business critical questions or build customer profiles by pulling data from internal database, syndicated data, other third-party sources, as necessary Visualize data/information in a clear and accessible format/presentation to share with business counterparts Work on a consumer insights project from inception to completion (topic to be determined based on business priorities), with necessary guidance provided Assist with data collection, analysis, and testing related to various projects Skills and Abilities Required: Curiosity and enthusiasm – at the heart of Consumer Insights and research is a curiosity to ask a question and follow it wherever the data may take you (which is often to more questions)Proven analytical, quantitative, and critical-thinking skills Ability to successfully consolidate different streams of information into logically sound propositionsKeen attention to detail and accuracy, with an ability to sense when data seems off Excellent verbal, written, communication and presentation skills Experience with SQL Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks against deadlines Preferred: experience with common statistical analysis methods (linear regression, hypothesis testing, ANOVA, survey methodology, etc.) Preferred: experience with statistical analysis programs (such as R, Python, SPSS, or STATA) Preferred: Retail experience Our Competencies for All Employees Courage: Doesn’t hold back anything that needs to be said; provides current, direct, complete, and “actionable” positive and corrective feedback to others; lets people know where they stand; faces up to people problems on any person or situation (not including direct reports) quickly and directly; is not afraid to take negative action when necessary.
