Our headquarters are located in the heart of Austin, Texas, and we embrace the unique vibe and energy of our hometown as an inspiration for our brand and company culture.Position Overview:We have an exciting career opportunity of the brand Founder, Kendra Scott, handling media relations, speaking opportunities, all content opportunities for entertainment, podcasts and social media, event appearances and beyond. Candidate must think creatively to generate concepts interesting to press, the entertainment industry and consumers• Manage and oversee talent engagements, including but not limited to speaking ventures, book tour, philanthropic endeavors, etc.• Help strategically build talent’s press kit to position the Founder for future entertainment opportunities – from appearances to shows• Manage communication assets, inclusive of innovative and creative positioning technology, as a way to peak industry interest• Align and work directly with CAA talent agent on press-forward initiatives and opportunities• Identify opportunities to enhance the public image and industry image Execution• Monitor, analyze and communicate PR results to executives and cross channel partners on a quarterly basis• Identify meaningful KPIs to benchmark and measure overall program results• Partner with Events team and PR agencies to plan and execute Trend/Entertainment Promotion events• Help to manage all published content on behalf of Kendra Scott• Ability to work and grow with both talent and brand• Versed in the realms of fashion/culture/lifestyle/entrepreneurship/women’s empowerment (issues of the day)• Supporting Kendra Scott lifestyle brand corporate giving as well as personal giving• Oversee philanthropic strategy and ideation for Kendra Scott, Inc.Our ideal Candidate will have:• Bachelor’s degree• 9+ years PR experience as a publicist with proven success in entertainment media and talent relationship management (press, agents, managers, etc. )• Ideal candidate to work in New York or Los Angeles, but remote options available as needed• Entertainment agency experience preferred• Thought leadership opportunities• Strong pulse on what is happening in the world of entertainment with existing relationships.• Ability to recommend and initiate projects with minimal direction• Thought leadership opportunities• Passion for the brand and its core values: Family, Fashion, Philanthropy• Management experience of multi-person/ cross-departmental team• Superior communication and organizational skills with strong attention to detail• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams• Ability to interpret overall marketing vision into a strategy• Comfort and experience working closely with executive management team• Strong media relations skills with proven program results in print, broadcast and online outlets• Superior relationship management and networking skills
