POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented tailor to perform in-house garment alterations at our Anchorage Midtown Mall location. This is a stable, full-time position in a professional luxury retail environment. The right candidate takes pride in precise craftsmanship, works efficiently under deadline, and understands the standard of quality that luxury menswear clients expect.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Perform men's suit and trouser alterations including hemming, waist and seat adjustments, tapering, and sleeve shorteningAssess garments and alterations needs accurately at intakeComplete work within established turnaround timesMaintain quality and precision consistent with luxury retail standardsCommunicate clearly with management regarding workload, timelines, and any garment concernsKeep the tailoring workspace organized and efficient

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Prior experience with men's garment alterations requiredStrong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanshipAbility to work independently and manage multiple garments simultaneouslyReliable, punctual, and professionalComfortable working in a retail environment alongside customers and staff

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience specifically with men's suit and trouser fitting workBackground working in a retail, dry cleaning, or tailoring shop environmentExperience with luxury or formal menswear
