This is an on‑site position working closely with clients, sales associates, and store leadership to ensure every alteration meets Bavington Clothier’s standards for fit, comfort, and presentation. Conduct fittings and take precise measurementsPerform alterations on tailored menswear, womenswear, casual apparel, and formalwearComplete hand‑sewing, machine‑sewing, pressing, and finishing workProvide guidance to clients on fit, alteration options, and garment careCollaborate with sales team members during client consultationsMaintain an organized, efficient, and professional workspaceManage multiple alteration orders and meet promised timelinesUphold Bavington Clothier’s standards of craftsmanship and service Proven experience in tailoring and alterations (retail or alterations shop experience preferred)Strong technical skills across a range of garment types and fabricsProficiency with sewing machines, sergers, and pressing equipmentExcellent attention to detail and commitment to qualityStrong communication and customer‑service skillsAbility to manage workflow and meet deadlines reliablyProfessional, friendly, and team‑oriented demeanor
