Sweater & Woven Designer – Madden NYC Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Own sweater & woven category Sketch detailed flats in Adobe Illustrator Create colored CADs and re-color indexed prints in Photoshop Request samples from factories, troubleshoot issues and track ETAs Setup tech-packs using excel (no PLM system) including BOM, construction details and ***create sample development specs*** Attend fittings sessions for area of responsibility Requirements: High taste level and understanding you the young contemporary/junior market 3+ year’s experience sweaters 3+ years experience inputting spec measurements and detailed construction pages Thorough knowledge of yarns, fabrications, and silhouettes, and construction.
