Westport Connecticut consumer-packaged goods company in search for a Supply Planning Manager that can work autonomously to create an optimum production plan that will deliver exceptional customer service at the lowest cost. The Supply Planning Manager is responsible to create and monitor production plans for a group of items produced at one or more of our third-party co-manufacturers. Responsibilities: Develop production plans in the Demand Works software tool, which requires an understanding of all the policy and demand inputs to ensure production plans are properly balancing the customer service and cost equation. Requirements: BA/BS in Supply Chain Management or Business. Demonstrated knowledge of capacity and production planning Thorough understanding of life-cycle management Ability to multitask Experience using a production planning tool – i.e. SAP, JDA/Manugistics, Demand Works Demonstrated process orientation and problem solving Exceptional excel skills – Experience using power point Ability to quickly create strong relationships with third party manufacturers
