DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:Perry Ellis International, Inc. represents a diverse portfolio of lifestyle apparel brands. The Company enhances its roster of brands by licensing trademarks from third parties, including: Nike® and Jag® for swimwear, and Callaway®, PGA TOUR®, and Jack Nicklaus® for golf apparel.We are currently looking for a Supply Chain Business Analyst to join our team!SUMMARY:The Supply Chain Business Analyst is responsible for developing solutions to complex problems which require constant use of ingenuity and innovation. You will work hand in hand with professionals that will ensure you succeed in your role. This position is based in our Corporate headquarters in Doral - Miami, Florida and will support our Distribution Centers and 3PLs across the globe.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:      * Gather and analyze data to develop insights used for the optimization of the organization's supply chain operations     * Identify underperforming areas in the supply chain by analyzing costs, capacity, and demand patterns      * Analyze and continuously review the movement of materials and other supply chain processes to identify sources of problems and to develop suggestions for solutions      * Drive performance through KPIs across the Supply Chain, Prepare reports or dashboards to provide reliable real time activity data to stakeholders and executives     * Monitor suppliers for contract compliance. Project Management and Visio softwares a plus     * Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the industrial engineering and supply chain fields      * Excellent written and verbal communication skills     * Superior presentation and negotiation skills     * Strong management and organizational skills     * Basic knowledge in lean six sigma & project management     * Statistical and technical systems skills to be able to analyze complex data      * Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills as related to technology and industry trends     * Excellent people skills, to be used to achieve a full understanding of the business process being supported     * A high level of self-motivation, strong multitasking skills     * Work ethical, mature, responsible and have a great attitude     * Willingness to learn and provide value to our Organization     * Adaptable and capable of working in fast-paced environments     * The ideal candidate exhibits the following key competencies,            + Initiative           + Teamwork          + Innovation          + Leadership           + Value Creation MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:      * 2+ years experience in or combination of Business, Supply Chain, Operations, and Industrial Engineering type roles     * Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Finance or related field     * Industrial Engineering/Supply Chain experience a plus     * Business Intelligence and KPI performance experience a plus     * Basic knowledge of Industrial Engineering concepts or a combination of IE with business, operations management, or supply chain management a plus
