Manages the day to day activities including: employee management, asset management, quality and safety systems to support the development process of new products for commercialization. Leads and implements new initiatives or policies related to Quality, Safety and Continuous Improvement opportunities for the department. Participate in regular audits to ensure compliance and that the department follows GMP, Data Integrity and Safety requirements. Lead the implementation of new initiatives and policies via change management activities throughout the department. Minimum 3-5 years of work experience in a manufacturing or R&D environment preferably in the cosmetic, food, or pharmaceutical industry with knowledge of process development activities.
