Role Description The Stylist role at ba&sh is a full-time, on-site position based in Boston, MA. In this role, the Stylist provides personalized styling advice, guiding clients through collections and helping them build looks that reflect ba&sh’s aesthetic and the client’s individual style. Day-to-day responsibilities include greeting and assisting customers, offering product and fit recommendations, maintaining visual merchandising standards, and ensuring the boutique is clean, organized, and inviting. The Stylist processes transactions, handles exchanges and returns, and supports inventory tasks such as restocking and transfers. This role collaborates closely with the store team to achieve sales goals, deliver a premium client experience, and represent the ba&sh brand with professionalism and enthusiasm.

Qualifications

Experience in retail or fashion styling, with strong knowledge of apparel, fit, and current trends.Client service skills, including the ability to build relationships, listen actively, and offer confident styling recommendations.Sales and boutique operations skills, such as POS knowledge, cash handling, and working toward individual and team sales targets.Visual merchandising and presentation skills, including maintaining displays, organizing product, and ensuring brand standards on the sales floor.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Ability to stand for extended periods, move merchandise, and work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.Attention to detail and a proactive, solution-oriented approach to problem-solving and customer needs.Genuine passion for fashion and enthusiasm for representing the ba&sh brand; prior luxury or contemporary fashion experience is a plus.
