Store ManagementThe store management team acts as liaison between store and owner, clearly communicating and reporting on store business and staff. They manage and promote all aspects of the business including but not limited to: buying, pricing, sales, merchandising, loss prevention, training and managing staff. With strong leadership, the store management team promotes a high level of customer service and continually strives for innovative solutions and alternatives in strengthening the business.

Store Management Major Areas Of ResponsibilityMeet or exceed financial goals, focusing on sales and overall profitabilityMaintain controllable expenses within established guidelinesDrive sales through the development of staff focusing on coaching, training, and modeling desired behaviorsManage all customer buys to ensure we maintain productivity and profitability standardsMaintain merchandise and visual presentation standards on a daily basisAssist in recruiting, hiring, and training associates for all store positionsCreate and maintain an environment of consistent and continuous coaching through positive reinforcementEnsure all inventory functions are completed as directed including regular inventory countsPrepare daily bank deposits and perform daily/weekly monetary auditing tasksOther duties as assignedStore Management QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED2+ years prior management and supervisory experience, plus 3 years retail sales experience, preferably in similar merchandise linesStrong leadership, organizational, and time management skillsProven customer service skills and strong interpersonal communication skillsSales and goal orientedMust be computer literateStore Management Physical RequirementsAbility to stand and walk for up to 8 hours per dayLifting up to 40 lbs. without assistanceBending, rotating, and reaching customary to a retail environmentExposure to typical retail environment conditions and noise levelsAble to operate a computerized sales terminalStore Management BenefitsStarting pay rates up to $20 per hourFlexible hoursPaid time offGenerous employee discount401K for qualified employeesComprehensive benefits package including dental, vision, life, short term disability and long term disability (no health)
