Job Description: Your main duty will involve ensuring exceptional customer service standards during both point of sale transactions and customer service interactions, with a strong focus on maintaining operational efficiency and execution consistency. Your key objective is to facilitate fast transaction processes while also enhancing the overall customer experience. What You'll Do as Store Sales Associate: • Initiate customer engagement through a friendly greeting and extend aid in navigating through available products and services. Execute cash register operations, scan purchases, pack items, and effectively manage diverse forms of payment • Adhere to company policies and guidelines to ensure the seamless execution of point-of-sale transactions and provide customers with prompt, efficient, and respectful service • Attain or outperform individual objectives like credit and retention • Maintain inventory integrity by accurately fulfilling all essential sales and product disposition protocols • Support the orientation of new hires in the service department by instructing them on the optimal methods for handling tasks, coaching them on the appropriate protocols for processing sales transactions, and familiarizing them with the available technology and resources, all in accordance with Kohl's brand requirements • Take part in the day-to-day operational activities like balancing registers, processing cash transactions, and refilling essential supplies
