As a Store Operations Supervisor at Ross Stores, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the heartbeat of our retail environment. Qualifications:

Strong verbal communication skills with a professional demeanor.Previous experience in retail supervision or high-volume customer service roles.Proficiency in using Point of Sale (POS) systems and basic computer applications.Competence in performing retail-math calculations and handling cash transactions.Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.Physical capability to remain on your feet for long shifts, with the ability to lift up to 25 lbs and utilize ladders or stockroom equipment.Benefits:

Act as the primary leader on the sales floor, managing opening and closing procedures and supervising associate workflows.Maintain a safe environment by monitoring building security, following emergency protocols, and correcting any potential hazards immediately.Oversee the Front End operations, managing customer queues to minimize wait times and coaching associates on "Scan and Bag" techniques.Coordinate the flow of merchandise from the stockroom to the sales floor, ensuring all items are properly tagged, sized, and displayed according to company standards.Lead Loss Prevention efforts by maintaining high visibility, conducting package inspections, and ensuring the integrity of cash handling and credit transactions.Manage administrative tasks as needed, including payroll reporting, associate scheduling, and bank deposit preparation.Supervise specialized areas such as fitting rooms and stockrooms to ensure cleanliness, organization, and loss prevention compliance.Drive a culture of excellence by recognizing high-performing associates and providing real-time feedback to help the team evolve.
