Role Description The Store Merchandise Specialist internship role is an on-site position located in Beachwood, OH. In this role, the intern will assist with merchandise presentation, ensuring that displays, racks, and shelves are organized, visually appealing, and aligned with brand standards. Daily tasks include supporting customers on the sales floor, answering product questions, and helping them select garments and accessories that match their style preferences. The intern will help with inventory checks, tagging and arranging products, maintaining a clean and welcoming store environment, and assisting with basic retail sales activities. The role may also involve learning store procedures, supporting training activities for new team members, and collaborating closely with staff to deliver a high-quality in-store experience.
Qualifications
Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with diverse clients and team members.Retail Sales experience or interest, with the ability to support customers through the buying process.Organization Skills for managing merchandise displays, inventory, and store cleanliness.Ability to support Training activities, including learning and following store procedures and sharing best practices with peers.Interest in fashion, textiles, or visual merchandising; prior retail or boutique experience is a plus.Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work on-site in Beachwood, OH for scheduled shifts.Comfort standing, walking, and handling merchandise for extended periods, with attention to detail and presentation.
