Overview The Store Manager role is about leading a customer-focused, sales driven, profitable and productive store location. Responsibilities At PacSun our Store Managers:Attract, inspire, retain and promote top talentAre passionate about our customers and our brands, know and understand his/her store in detail and understands the competition in the marketUnderstand how stores operate with regard to staffing, payroll, marketing and visual merchandising and meets all execution and compliance goalsDemonstrate business acumen including (but not limited to) how sales, profitability, inventory, markdowns, etc. Individuals who meet the following qualifications are encouraged to apply for this position:Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) and/or equivalent work experience is a plus2+ years of retail management experience preferred Minimum of 5 years of retail experience required, with a proven ability to drive salesPassion for product, brands, fashion and trendsAble to work nights and weekends with reasonable schedule flexibilityPhysical DemandsAbility and willingness to take on additional tasksAbility to communicate through oral interactionAbility to utilize power tools and navigate a ladder as neededAbility to climb, reach, bend and lift up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionallyAbility to operate a cash register and fold and display merchandiseAbility to work in store sales floor for extended periods - 95% or more of assigned shift
