Store Manager - SouthPark Mall

Summary Manage and operate a single luxury boutique ensuring achievement of store sales goals, expense control, inventory accuracy and exemplary client service while maintaining brand image and store presentation. Lead staffing activities including recruitment, scheduling, coaching and development with a focus on training and team performance. Responsibilities • Achieve store sales plans by maximizing team productivity and recommending sales strategies • Control store expenses and oversee inventory management and loss prevention • Manage merchandise presentation and ensure stock fill in on basics and assortment purchases • Oversee store presentation including maintenance, housekeeping and organization • Recruit, schedule and ensure adequate coverage levels for all staff • Conduct regular store meetings and daily reviews of sales expectations and priorities • Coach and develop staff, prepare personnel development plans with measurable goals • Ensure training covers product knowledge, client service, systems and procedures • Maintain effective communication with clients, staff and Corporate Office Requirements • 5+ years of high volume retail management experience preferably in the luxury sector • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail and strong follow through • Proven coaching and staff development abilities • Ability to assess priorities, meet deadlines and work under pressure • Strong problem solving attitude and proactive collaborative spirit • Experience managing schedules, coverage and store operations • Knowledge of inventory control and merchandising practices
