## Job description This person reports directly to an Area or District Manager who in turn reports to a Regional Manager or Director. Individuals who have been most successful in this role have prior apparel retail experience, a four-year college degree, a proactive mindset, and excellent communication skills. Responsibilities \- Attracts, inspires, retains and promotes top talent \- Is passionate about our customers and our brands, knows and understands his/her store in detail and understands the competition in the market \- Understands how stores operate with regard to staffing, payroll, marketing and visual merchandising and meets all execution and compliance goals \- Demonstrates business acumen including (but not limited to) how sales, profitability, inventory, markdowns, etc. \- Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) and/or equivalent work experience is a plus \- 2+ years of apparel retail experience \- Able to work nights and weekends with reasonable schedule flexibility Physical Demands \- Ability and willingness to take on additional tasks \- Ability to communicate through oral interaction \- Ability to utilize power tools and navigate a ladder as needed \- Ability to climb, reach, bend and lift up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally \- Ability to operate a cash register and fold and display merchandise \- Ability to work in store sales floor for extended periods - 95% or more of assigned shift
