About The Role
At Jaxen Grey, the Store Manager is responsible for owning the overall success of the store, including team leadership, sales performance, and operational execution. This role leads all store employees, sets the standard for a high-touch, styling-driven customer experience, and ensures the store consistently delivers on company goals, drives business results, and maintains operational excellence across the sales floor and back-of-house.
This is a full-time, salaried leadership role responsible for all in-store operations, reporting to the VP of People & Culture.
What You'll Do...
Lead all store employees, including Assistant Store Managers, Stylists, Inventory, and Support rolesDrive store performance by setting expectations and coaching the team to achieve sales, service, and customer experience resultsOwn employee performance management, including coaching, development, and corrective action when neededOversee hiring, onboarding, training, scheduling, and overall team developmentActively manage the sales floor, ensuring exceptional customer experience and strong selling behaviorsOversee all store operations, including opening and closing procedures, shipping and receiving, alterations, special orders, merchandising, and cleanliness standardsEnsure execution and accountability of company initiatives, policies, and standards at the store levelPartner with inventory leadership to maintain inventory accuracy, organization, and operational efficiencyMonitor store performance and team effectiveness, and implement action plans to drive results and foster a positive, accountable culture
YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS POSITION IF YOU HAVE…
3+ years of retail management experience, preferably in a specialty retail, apparel, or client-focused selling environmentStrong leadership skills with the ability to build, coach, and retain a high-performing teamStrong sense of ownership and accountability for store performanceProven ability to drive sales performance and achieve business goalsAbility to meet and model individual sales expectations (approximately 15% of total store sales, ATV $225, UPT 2.0) while leading the team to overall store performance goalsStrong operational and organizational skills across retail functionsAbility to balance team leadership with hands-on executionStrong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skillsComfort using technology, including Point of Sale systems and Microsoft 365Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
SCHEDULE & AVAILABILITY...
This is a full-time, salaried position with a minimum expectation of approximately 40 hours per weekSchedule will vary based on business needs, including weekends, holidays, and peak volume periods
