Store Manager - Fashion Retail

Our client is a rapidly expanding contemporary fashion retailer seeking an experienced and dynamic Store Manager for their flagship location in Des Moines, Iowa, US . The ideal candidate will possess a strong retail background, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences.

Responsibilities:Oversee all daily store operations, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning. Lead, coach, and motivate a team of sales associates to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service. Manage inventory, including receiving, stocking, visual merchandising, and loss prevention. Implement and enforce visual merchandising standards to create an appealing store environment. Analyze sales data and KPIs to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Develop and execute local marketing initiatives to drive store traffic and sales. Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and operational standards. Manage store budget, controlling expenses and maximizing profitability. Handle customer inquiries, issues, and complaints effectively and professionally. Recruit, hire, train, and develop store staff. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Qualifications:Minimum of 5 years of retail management experience, preferably in fashion or apparel. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving store profitability. Strong leadership, team-building, and communication skills. Excellent customer service orientation and interpersonal abilities. Proficiency in retail operations, inventory management, and visual merchandising. Experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems and retail management software. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field is a plus.
