Position Summary

Big Ray's is seeking an experienced Store Manager 2 – Retail Operations to lead one of our high-volume locations. This position is responsible for overall store performance, customer satisfaction, inventory accuracy, team development, and operational excellence.

As Store Manager 2 – Retail Operations, you'll lead through the Customer Service Manager and Operations Manager while providing direction and support for the entire store team. You'll create a culture focused on exceptional customer service, accountability, and results while ensuring the store operates efficiently, safely, and profitably.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing retail team.
Deliver and model exceptional customer service.
Resolve escalated customer concerns professionally and effectively.
Oversee staffing, scheduling, training, and employee development.
Ensure accurate inventory management and merchandise flow.
Maintain store presentation, safety, and operational standards.
Manage freight, receiving, replenishment, and merchandising activities.
Support budget goals and drive store productivity and profitability.
Partner with leadership to ensure efficient day-to-day operations.
Oversee facility maintenance and ensure a clean, organized, and safe environment for customers and employees.

QualificationsRequired

Associate degree or equivalent experience.
5+ years of retail or related industry experience.
2+ years of management experience.
Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to engage effectively with customers, employees, and community stakeholders.
High degree of professionalism and teamwork.
Proficiency with Outlook, Teams, Excel, and other business software.

Preferred

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Experience with scheduling and inventory management software.

Physical Requirements

This position requires frequent standing, walking, lifting up to 40 pounds, climbing stairs, and the ability to work throughout a retail environment.
