Store Leadership Trainees, or SLTs (Leaders in Training), go through a 12 week structured training program that prepares you to be an Assistant Store Manager in one of our $10M-$20M dollar Kohl’s stores. Upon successful completion of the program, you will be placed as an Assistant Store Manager. As an Assistant Store Manager, you are a part of the store executive team and you will have a significant role in leading associate development as well as assessing and evolving your own development. Kohl's leaders support the communities and causes our Customers and Associates care about through initiatives like the Kohl’s Volunteer Program and Business Resource Groups.They see our Customers as a constant source of inspiration and guidance, while showcasing a hospitality mentality approach to everything they do.
