Role Description The Store Leader role at maurices is a full-time, on-site position located in Selinsgrove, PA. The Store Leader oversees daily store operations, including driving retail sales, managing visual merchandising standards, and ensuring an engaging, service-focused experience for customers. This role leads and develops the store team through coaching, training, and performance feedback, while fostering a positive, inclusive, and collaborative work environment. The Store Leader is responsible for scheduling, maintaining organization in the sales floor and stockroom, monitoring key performance metrics, and executing company initiatives. Additional responsibilities include handling opening and closing procedures, supporting loss prevention efforts, and partnering with district leadership to achieve store goals.
Qualifications
Strong Communication skills for team leadership, customer interaction, and clear coordination with management.Customer Service and Retail Sales skills to create exceptional in-store experiences and drive revenue.Organization Skills to manage schedules, inventory, visual standards, and day-to-day store operations.Training skills to onboard, coach, and develop team members in sales, service, and operational best practices.Proven experience in retail or related customer-facing environments, preferably in a supervisory or leadership role.Ability to lead by example, motivate diverse teams, and uphold a positive, inclusive, and results-oriented culture.Comfort with using point-of-sale systems and basic computer applications to manage sales, reporting, and communication.Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs.High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in business, fashion, or a related field is beneficial.
