Throughout this internship, you will work closely with other managers and team members to understand how Target's retail business operates and what it takes to excel in a management position. While leading and supporting the execution of daily operations, you will work beside your team members, building the culture and guiding your team to grow and achieve their goals. The internship is designed to provide you with the skills and experience necessary for a future role as an Executive Team Leader, including guest service fundamentals, retail business fundamentals, and managing a team of hourly team members. A typical day will include spending time on the sales floor and backroom leading among team members, working alongside your Executive Team Lead mentor, leading through daily priorities, addressing team member concerns, and delivering an exceptional guest experience.
