You will engage in hands-on training, working closely with other managers and team members to grasp how Target's retail business operates and what it takes to excel in a management position. Throughout the internship, you will spend a significant amount of time leading among the team, identifying and working towards store priorities, and delivering exceptional guest service. You will learn how to drive guest experience and impact your store's financial, team, and operational performance. Working alongside a mentor, you will gain insights into effective leadership within the store and have the opportunity to lead your mentor's departments, with guidance provided to ensure your growth and learning. Your daily responsibilities will include spending time on the sales floor and backroom, leading team members, aligning the team on daily business priorities, and collaborating with your Executive Team Lead (ETL) mentor and other leaders.
