Women’s sportswear company is looking for a Sr. Production Manager Sourcing and Production Product ranges from Woven Tops, dresses bottoms, knits, sweaters. Must have experience working with Walmart and/or Costco. Daily communications with factories and mills both domestic and overseas Pre-costing negotiations Manage costing charts Must know Retail Link and all processes including updating buyers regularly the POS, Order Flow, shipping etc Must be able to conduct Accountability Meetings on weekly basis with the Walmart buying team Insure timely deliveries/vessel bookings and Freight Forwarders for fabric and garments Proficient with technical specs and grading, fittings, garment construction and tailoring, Prepare factory allocations both domestic and import Analyze vendor/mill/factory performance and take initiative to find new resources Must have knowledge and experience in sustainability Deep understanding of General Operations in all areas of production Manage counter development samples for production Oversee cutting tickets, yield and fabric consumption. Ensure correct goods are being cut Maintain fabric inventory and trims Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendor resources Oversee all stages of production and ensure quality and fit requirements are met from start to finish Have two direct reports Traveling if needed 10 + years in a Production role Must have excellent project and time management skills Strong sense of urgency, attention to detail, and ability to Prioritize.
