A New York based women’s apparel company is looking for an experienced and professional Production Coordinator who is detail-oriented and mature with strong administrative skills. This position has growth potential for the right candidate.Responsibilities: Direct communication and follow up on production status with overseas factories daily Create and maintain purchase orders and style master Maintain and follow up on Time and action calendar for pre-production/TOP samples, lab testing report and inspection to ensure timely delivery Work closely with Design, Sales, and Technical Design to ensure on-time approvals Troubleshoot quality and technical issues with factories and QA overseas team and make sure it gets resolved before shipping Work with overseas QC to schedule timely inspections, testing, etc Manage production costing chart and enter all costing data in the system Analyze and understand customer manual and walk through all the factories, if needed Follow up with vendors on daily basis on production status Receive bookings & work with oversea to receive shipping documents & partner with our imports team to submit all necessary documents Follow up all necessary testing (CPSIA, CTL, and in-house) on fabric, garments, and trims Desired Skills and Experience Requirements: 4 to 6 years work experience in fashion, apparel, or manufacturing industry Require extremely detailed, organized, able to work under pressure Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to effectively communicate between interoffice departments & overseas vendors Proficiency in Microsoft Office, MS Excel, Adobe products Knowledge or proficiency in Exenta a plus Walmart Experience a plus Pls send your resume with salary range.
