We are Careismatic Brands, Inc. (CBI), global leader in the manufacture and distribution of medical apparel, footwear, and accessories. Headquartered in our hybrid corporate office in Chatsworth, California, we have an outstanding opportunity for a Senior Product Developer. This individual will be responsible for initial concept through final fit development and PP release to source base, system engagement, and team management for Cherokee, Dickie’s, and HeartSoul brands. Responsibilities Leading and overseeing seasonal concept proto’s development Managing team deliverables and milestones against seasonal GTM calendar and PLM system Overseeing and implementing Fabrics and New Fabrics lab dips processes against GTM calendar deliverables Managing the trim approval processes Leading the initial costing processes and monitoring PLM accuracy Managing seasonal and carryover tech pack PP release Overseeing the packing and shipping of samples for License, Customers, and Accounts Conducting regular reviews with Design Team regarding PLM line sheet for accuracy Implementing necessary revisions post-seasonal release of styles on database Engaging in full range of managerial activities in overseeing the PD Team Collaborating with the Design Team regarding seasonal newness and carryover updates for PLM system data entry Leading design handoff meetings for seasonal newness Establishing a tracking tool with Patternmaking to monitor development status Communicating with Sourcing/Production on all trim quality and color approvals Initiating sample requests with Marketing, Design, and Sales; creating processes for sample requests Communicating with Marketing regarding branding updates and requirements Leading the teams and processes for seasonal newness set-up in PLM system Leading all key teams for PP style release Requirements At least eight years of experience in the apparel industry with expert knowledge of fabric, trim, and garment construction Excellent organizational skills and ability to carry out multi-task projects Able to meet milestone objectives and drive deliverables against GTM calendar Highly thorough and detail-oriented Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with Adobe Illustrator Experience with PLM systems, PowerPoint, Photoshop, and InDesign is a plus Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Merchandising or related field We offer a competitive salary and benefit package along with a friendly, creative, and team-oriented work environment.
