Highly strategic and exciting new role for the company. First dedicated Outlet Merchant (strategic role owning a business unit) Minimal travel required. Exciting and strategic opportunity to lead a business unit (outlet stores) with the goal being to open more stores.Seeking a strong understanding of brand integrity, close-out strategy (goal is to sell more close out inventory), creativity (working with what they already have), collaboration (engaging with stores to customize assortment), merchandising (product and visual – ie; determining seasonal “must have’s” and putting packages together in store while telling a seasonal story with strong presentation). Oversight of outlet buying, allocation (very high sku count needing to be allocated!) Define and own pricing strategy, markdown cadence, assortments, visual merchandising (presentations to signage etc) Not a ton of traditional buying because they own the product (sits in their warehouse) and have many many sku’s to move through.
