sr Manager - IT Security

The Senior Manager of IT Security will lead a global team of security professionals and manage operational activities which include event and incident monitoring, response, implementation, administration of security tools and technologies. This role is also responsible for: \- Leading the security operations team in support of all designated Security Operations and Incident Response tasks \- Develop and contribute to the Information Security program, strategy, and roadmap \- Design, implement and mature improvements to the security operations program \- Manage the effectiveness of the information security technologies and serve as the information security consultant and subject matter expert \- Partner and maintain relationships with IT leaders to ensure Information Security strategy and roadmap is executed \- Participate in risk assessments and the development of risk management plans \- Develop, administer and maintain security awareness education activities \- Ensure the ongoing integration of information security with business strategies and requirements \- Maintain an understanding of the current vulnerabilities, response, and mitigation strategies used in security operations \- Have a minimum of 5 to 7 years of team leading skills in specific technology/area of delivery \- BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related technical field, or the equivalent combination of education and experience \- Requires a strong application, system and network knowledge \- An excellent problem solver with analytical and critical thinking skills \- Must be a strong collaborator and communicator with the capability to mentor team members and leads \- Possess highly developed interpersonal and negotiation skills on scope with local and global teams \- Experience working on more than one platform to have greater perspective of available solutions \- Must be able to design solutions and author specification documents \- Experience in GDPR and CCPA compliance preferred \- CISSP, CISM, Cloud, SAP Security or an equivalent certification are highly preferredSpecific Systems and Tools Prefered: \- Cloud computing technologies and security, Windows and Linux systems, networking, knowledge of SAP and security best practices
