POSITION SUMMARY:The Sr Director Merchandising is the leader of collaborations product merchandising and is responsible for the development of all merchandising dashboards, as well as the consolidation of information to support and build out strategies for Calvin Klein collaborations and special projects. They will ensure that product meets specific merchandising objectives, revenue targets, and goals. Thoroughly understands the Brand's target customer by tracking attitude and lifestyle trends.Leads quarterly merchandising report-outs to cross-functional team (trend, competitive market, and metrics).Oversees and communicates Merchandising metrics to monitor for continued seasonal improvement.Collaborates with regional and global partners to gain insight on seasonal collection structure and aligns big ideas and establishes new key item opportunities.Drives and leads best in class sku plan process for the development of seasonal assortments.Partners with all Global and North America Design & Merchandising leads to understand each regional style/sku needs.Analyzes seasonal business by tracking sales information in order to identify opportunities to improve assortments and margins.Oversees and identifies team strengths and areas for development; recognizes positive performance, results, and counsels non-performing employees.Partners with SVP New Product Ventures on all product & strategic initiatives, both long and short-term.Familiarizes themselves with competitive market place and leads analyzation of top selling styles of key competitors; understands upcoming product trends; communicates competitors’ trend information as needed to Design and Sales teams.QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:Experience: 10+ years of product development/merchandising experience; preferably in Apparel and/or Underwear.At least 5 years of experience managing a team.Education: Bachelor’s Degree in related fieldSkills: Strong problem solving, interpersonal and organizational skillsHigh level of analytical skills and conceptual creative abilityExcellent written / verbal communication and presentation skillsKnowledge of fabrics as well as garment construction including brasWorking knowledge of garment costs and gross margin formulas#LI-JL2 PVH Corp. or its subsidiary ("PVH") is an equal opportunity employer and considers all applicants for employment on the basis of their individual capabilities and qualifications, consistent with applicable law and without regard to race, color, sex, gender identity or expression, age, religion, creed, national origin, citizenship status, sexual orientation, genetic information, physical or mental disability, military status or any other characteristic protected under federal, state or local law.
