sr. Director, Indirect Procurement

The Senior Director of Purchasing will be expected to hit the ground running, by focusing on all areas of the business. To be successful, the Senior Director, Purchasing needs to closely partner with several stakeholders (both peers and executive leaders) across the company and manage a dynamic team As the company continues to grow, the position will need to lead supplier management for critical vendors, leverage spend, engage in best practices and ensure that Ross maximizes on value. Manage the Indirect Procurement and Financial Processes: \- Own and manage the Coupa procure-to-pay system, Oracle PeopleSoft (Procurement) and other systems & tools \- Demand planning for all items/SKUs that are purchased - provide thoughtful and intelligent guidance to the team for all purchases \- Maintain SOX and Purchase Order compliance controls for all transactions and workflows \- Establish buying policies, best practices, performance scorecards, and relationship & risk management \- Communicate with business partners, stores and distribution centers on an ongoing basis regarding supplies needs \- Manage the delivery to all new stores on time and to budget Source Indirect Categories \- Conduct and/or support sourcing events (negotiations/bidding/auctions) \- Lead contracting (drafting, redlining, signature process) \- Identify broader cost reduction opportunities \- Create annual savings over the current cost base Manage Budgeting and Forecasting: \- Create and manage annual company supply budgets; effectively track, forecast and adjust based on company sales trends \- Daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly financial forecasting, reviewing and analysis - with critical thinking to support dynamic shifts \- Drive cost savings in partnership with the Strategic Sourcing department \- Submit all budgets and monthly financials; error free, meeting all published deadlines \- Communication and collaboration skills with the proven ability to influence.
