A Sr. We are open to candidates located outside the San Francisco Bay Area who want to work remotely. Key Results: \- Design and deploy cloud automation solutions with cloud native tools and 3rd party tools \- Define and document cloud standards for engineering and support teams \- Lead technical discussions with senior executives that drive decisions and implementations \- Review and manage technical and business requirements gathering for establishing new solutions \- Develop and design architecture for cross functional technologies with automation technologies that meets customer's technical, security, and business needs for apps/workloads. \- Design deployment strategies to migrate from old server technologies to new technologies.Responsibilities: \- Drive cloud automation adoption and provide a stable automation infrastructure with repeatable processes and procedures \- Work with other cloud team members in a self-managed role \- Drive understanding of Public versus Private cloud, on-prem and Hybrid Cloud and Built-In Security & Management as well as Disaster Recovery (DR) \- Maintain provisioning and continuous integration (CI/CD) frameworks in support of cloud automation such as Ansible and TerraForm \- Drive awareness of cloud costs and develop the best hosting solutions based on technology and costs \- Participate in defining the automation technology roadmap, toolsets and strategies based on industry best-practices \- Create automation for the deployment of ARM and cloud templates \- Provide technical escalation support for new and existing cloud technologies \- Coordinate with operations and development teams to ensure timely resolution of cloud related system issues \- Produce and maintain documentation for use in the installation, configuration, operation and maintenance of automation platforms
