SPACE PLANNER

The Space Planner is responsible for developing category-wide space and fixture optimizations using raw statistical data combined with merchant insights to help deliver category sales, margin and turnover goals. Reports to Inventory & Space Manager (or Sr Manager) Drives space and  fixture adjustments across categories (macro) down to brand and classification changes within departments (micro) improving store sales, margin and turnover Develops and  communicates space allocation strategies that enable enterprise-wide growth strategies including, but not limited to: new brand introductions, category expansions, new store formats, etc. Establishes customer choice and depth targets by department Owns and maintains space repository and related communication with cross functional teams Creates, maintains and communicates productivity and space related reporting Partners with multiple cross functional teams including merchandising, store experience design and store partners to deliver macro space optimization goals KPIs Omni sales, B&M sales productivity Margin Turnover Fixture Productivity Sales $ per square foot Detail oriented, strategic thinker with strong analytical skills Outstanding communication and presentation abilities Skilled collaborator who can influence across multiple business-stakeholders Ability to work creatively and analytically in problem-solving environment
