Social Media Manager/ Content Creator A fine jewelry manufacturer based in Oakland is seeking a creative, smart, organized, detail oriented, efficient, part time Social Media Manager/ Content Creator to handle social media marketing efforts for the company. About Us: We are a growing design company that has recently repositioned to sell online, direct to consumer. About the Position: As our Social Media Manager and Content Creator, you will be responsible for driving engagement and positive brand sentiment across all of the company’s social media platforms, and will lead the social media vision and strategy. Responsibilities: -Develop and oversee social media marketing strategy to achieve business and brand goals -Create and curate fun and interesting content for IG, Facebook and Pinterest -Educate and inspire current clients, and invite new clients into the brand -Identify current trends -Seek out and identify collaborations and partnerships -Identify best practices, optimizations and operational improvements to maximize outputs and creativity -Use analytics and insights to drive testing and optimization strategies -Drive brand representation through authentic social interactions while optimizing for growth -Regularly report on social media successes and opportunities -Work efficiently, independently and as part of a team -Collaborate with the Marketing Director on photo shoots, marketing campaigns, sales initiatives We’re excited about you if you have: -A positive and upbeat outlook -Deep understanding of both organic and paid social media -Experience with translating broader marketing goals into social and influencer strategies -Talent with shooting and editing videos -Strong photography skills and understanding of digital cameras -Passion for art, design and/or fashion -Great writing, and editing skills -Strong analytic and reporting skills and comfort with social media metrics -Proficiency with Canva, Illustrator, etc If this job sounds like a great fit for you, please send your resume, along with a cover letter stating why you are interested in the position.
