Whatnot The Communications team is seeking a creative and driven content creator to join our social media team and assist in creation as well as day to day community management. Working closely with the existing social media team and cross functional partners, you'll help create a strategy for fashion on Whatnot, produce engaging content, manage influencers, and set goals to ensure our channels are a positive reflection of our brand and help to celebrate, engage with, and support our community. In this role you will: • Develop the infrastructure for the fashion category on Whatnot social channels: Define how Whatnot shows up in regard to women's and men's fashion categories. • Comfortable seeing a piece of trending content and understanding how to take a brand perspective and participate in the trend • In-depth knowledge of current trends, pop culture, and social media platforms • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal • Proficiency in social media platforms, community management tools, and data analytics tools • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment • You're immersed in internet culture and can use that knowledge to identify trends, creators and opportunities for the Whatnot brand to build and grow.
