Our headquarters are located in the heart of Austin, Texas, and we embrace the unique vibe and energy of our hometown as an inspiration for our brand and company culture.Position Overview:The Social Media Content Manager is responsible for the production, distribution, and performancemeasurement of creative content across all social channels. With a keen sense of who the Kendra Scott customer is, and a desire to inspire and delighther/him/them, this role dreams big when it comes to our social content, and helps bring that content tolife through effective planning and direction, while leading two direct reports who largely focus oncontent creation and distribution.Responsibilities• Lead and oversee all creative content for social media platforms for the Kendra Scott brand.Approve all photos, videos, and copy created specifically for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook,Pinterest, Twitter, YouTube, and more.• Work with Sr Manager of Social Media and Sr Manager of Digital Creative to develop socialcontent behind launches/promos/campaigns to ensure best customer experience and alignmentwith larger Marketing objective and goals.• Lead 2 direct reports (one full time role and one intern) who develop social content assets andbrief these individuals on creative direction and deliverables for all assets.• Provide coaching, mentorship and clear feedback to direct reports with the goal of theirprofessional development and a best-in-class social media team in mind.• Help give feedback on social copy tone to copywriters to ensure the content speaks to ourcustomer in a relevant way for that platform and audience. Must also write copy for social asneeded on the fly.• Work closely with e-comm team and/or external vendors as well as in-app data to understandperformance of creative content and adjust content accordingly.• Act as a leader on the Creative Services team: communicate with assertiveness and confidence,push the team forward creatively and strategically, speak up when decisions are being made toprovide a point of view, give and receive feedback respectfully and openly, and represent theteam effectively with cross-functional partners.• Work closely with the new Sr Director of Digital Creative to establish best processes andworkflow so that social creative is complementary to digital creative for site and email.• Advocates for the Kendra Scott customer—who they are and the content that will resonate withthem—in all strategic and creative conversations.Requirements• 5+ years of experience overseeing creative content for a fashion retail brand• Expert at developing visual and written content for all platforms (can make a beautiful Insta-story, TikTok, AI filter or in-grid Instagram post quickly and effectively and do all associatedediting in-app or otherwise).• In-tune with the Kendra Scott customer and who he/she/they are across all of our socialplatforms. This role understands the nuance of the right product at the right time, theimportance of a brand’s voice on social and visuals as it pertains to our audience and how tobest leverage different assets to drive performance across all social outlets.• A passionate manager of people who can inspire great work, deliver tough feedback, andcommunicate effectively as a leader on the Creative Services team.• Data-driven and able to quickly integrate performance results into upcoming creative.• Able to read performance data and develop narratives as takeaways to effectively share outlearnings to Director of Creative Services, Sr Director of Creative Service and CMO.• Enjoys an enthusiastic and team-oriented, collaborative work environment.• A shared appreciation for our 3 core values of Family, Fashion and Philanthropy
