Duration: Jan 2022 – July 2022 Hours: 40/wk Location: San Francisco, CA /Hybrid Position Overview: -Sweaters Apparel Yarn R&D/Product Developer – Years of Experience: 3-10 years – Areas of Experience Open To: Sweater Yarn Development and Sourcing, Working in Sweaters Product Development, Tech Design or Production or Design – Understanding of yarns, stitch, gauges, fiber types – Ability to partner with sweater vendor on best yarns, combinations of ends and size of gg for stitch/garment types – Understanding of sweater quality and testing – Ability to guide Design on yarn choices and stitch development, provide trend yarn trend direction – Ability to partner with Product Engineering team on costing and quality options – Tools Experience: Has worked within PLM systems, has Excel, PowerPoint experience. Illustrator experience a plus but not necessary
