Description of Responsibilities: To support the selling function of the boutique by managing the areas of shipping/receiving, point-of-sale, building maintenance, operating budgets/invoicing/expenses and collaborating with the General Manager to support the operations of the store and stock area. To insure that all policies, procedures and operational directives are enforced consistently and effectively To assist all departments in establishing organizational and systematic approaches to their goals To ensure that each associate is fully trained in all operational and Shipping and Receiving areas Overview of Critical Duties: Inventory Supervise and insure completion of all inventories and cycle count preparation Facilitate the corporate directives in regards to inventories and cycle counts Supervise the inventory and cycle count processes Insure all management staff are aware of their responsibilities and duties towards inventory and cycle counts Manage the reconciliation process for inventories and cycle count Loss Prevention Collaborate with and support Loss/Prevention department in all areas of risk management, physical security, store cash controls, inventory management, inter-store communication and L/P audits Alterations Collaborate with and support Alterations department in all areas of quality control, inter-store communication, productivity reports and supply management Point-of-Sale Manage, insure training of and develop the point-of-sale staff Insure all associates are aware of and abide by Point-of-sale policy and procedure Shipping/Receiving Manage, insure training of and develop the shipping/receiving staff Insure all staff are aware of and abide by shipping/receiving policies and procedures Supplies Maintain and order all supplies necessary for operation of store Background/Experience: Computer proficiency (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook) College degree or equivalent required 3+ years in related retail setting with emphasis on operations, store management or office administration
