OverviewStrategically interpret and develop the commercialization and engineering of product to meet design vision, merchant requirements and company financial goals. Manage a team of Technical Designers or a Department to drive the Technical Design and product integrity of merchandise across assigned departments. Ensure products achieve the fit, construction and quality requirements to meet customer expectations, brand positioning and are aligned with Design and Merchandising objectives.Job ResponsibilitiesCore Accountabilities:Adhere to calendar deadlines for on-time delivery of product Recommend materials and construction techniques to meet or exceed IMU goals set by Merchandising Use PLM system to manage technical specs for assigned departments from Design hand-off to Production Work closely with Design counterpart to ensure design integrity is maintained throughout the technical development process Own and manage ordering of development samples, including complete sample tracking process, to ensure samples arrive on-time to meet calendar deadlines and key presentation meetings. Own and manage the fitting of all samples from 1st Proto through final production approval Lead fit sessions and own process of advising/correcting specification packages to meet the design aesthetic & company financial goals, while maintaining the appropriate fit for the EB customer. As a manager, serve as a leader of company culture, norms, and conduct.
