SENIOR TAX ANALYST, PAYROLL

Description Provide formal and informal coaching in “real time,” assess performance against metrics, deliver performance reviews and customize development plans for direct reports. Responsibilities: Manage timely and accurate completion of monthly account reconciliations and general ledger interfaces between Oracle Cloud HCM and SAP General Ledger Attend and present monthly account reconciliations to Finance teams Maintain SOX documentation for the payroll tax management process Validate W-2, W-2PR, T4 and RL-1 totals between Oracle Cloud HCM and ADP/Equifax Prepare responses to payroll tax inquiries from federal, state and local tax authorities Manage Quarter and Year end processing activities for the Payroll Tax Team Ownership of the Payroll Tax testing for all Oracle Cloud HCM, Vertex and CIC Plus+ system and legislative updates Prepare statutory, statistical and analytical reports from Oracle Cloud HCM, ADP SmartCompliance and SAP systems Lead projects and implementing company initiatives. Maintain an open-door environment and research and resolve associate relations issues as needed. Qualifications High attention to detail, executes for results, analytical and curious mindset Ability to execute tasks in a thorough, composed, accurate and timely fashion while managing multiple, competing priorities in a fast-paced environment with multiple systems Ability to make recommendations based on analysis and take lead on implementing changes Communicates in a highly effective manner (verbal and written), interpreting complex information and thoughtfully expressing their viewpoint, analysis or conclusions Cross-functional team player with the ability to guide and inspire others Proven ability to manage projects and delegate to others Conducts all work in an ethical, honest, professional and confidential manner Ability and willingness to take on additional responsibilities Self-motivated, self-starting and a creative thinker Excellent customer service skills Experience and Education: Minimum of six years’ experience in Federal, State & Local Payroll Tax with large multi-state employer Experience and understanding with the General Ledger including chart of accounts 2+ years’ experience in supervising others, preferred Experience with Oracle Cloud HCM, ADP SmartCompliance, Blackline and SAP Financials is preferred Strong PC skills.
