Senior Store Operations Manager, Luxury Fashion

Our client, a renowned international luxury fashion house, is seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Senior Store Operations Manager to oversee their flagship retail presence in Detroit, Michigan, US . This leadership role is instrumental in ensuring the highest standards of operational excellence, delivering an unparalleled customer experience, and driving sales performance. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the store, leading a team of retail professionals, and upholding the brand's prestigious image.

Responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of store operations, including sales, customer service, inventory management, visual merchandising, and staff management. Lead, coach, and motivate a high-performing team of sales associates and supervisors to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service. Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and operational standards. Manage inventory levels, implement loss prevention strategies, and conduct regular stock takes to maintain accuracy. Drive sales growth by developing and implementing effective sales strategies and initiatives. Create and maintain an aesthetically pleasing and welcoming store environment that aligns with the brand's luxury image. Handle customer escalations and resolve issues promptly and professionally. Recruit, train, and develop store staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development. Manage store budget, payroll, and other operational expenses effectively. Liaise with corporate headquarters on merchandising, marketing, and operational matters. Analyze sales reports and operational data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. Ensure the store consistently meets or exceeds performance KPIs.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; equivalent experience will be considered. Minimum of 8 years of progressive retail management experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within the luxury goods or high-end fashion sector. Proven track record of driving sales growth and achieving operational excellence in a demanding retail environment. Exceptional leadership, coaching, and team-building skills. Strong understanding of luxury retail market dynamics, customer service standards, and visual merchandising principles. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in retail management software and POS systems. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Passion for fashion and a keen eye for detail and quality.
