Senior Production Coordinator

Growing Girl’s import apparel company seeking senior level production manager for daily communication to factories in our multiple category lines which include sportwear, occasion dresses, swimwear, sleepwear. Responsibilities Include: Daily communication to factories on all production related mattersManaging the life cycle of all styles in productionCommunicating retailer requirements to factories – labeling, packing, ticketing, hanging, marking. Reviewing and approving compliancy.Following up on production and delivery status through daily emailsKeeping track of submits and production status with the following reports: Time and Action, Work in Process and daily emails with the factoryDistributing lab dips and sample submits to the Design and Tech departments and passing their comments to factoriesAssisting the sourcing manager and owners of the company in sourcing new factories Track all testing complianceWorking with overseas freight forwarders to approve shipmentsQualifications and Competencies: 10 years experience in production in girls apparelKnits and wovensFactory connections in girls apparel Detail orientedOrganized and very good follow up skillsSense of urgency and intuitive sense of prioritiesTeam playerStrong work ethicReliableSelf-starterStrong working knowledge of tech packsClear and thorough understanding of apparel product development and product cycle timelines
