Responsibilities: Leadership • Builds trust with both internal team members and departments and clients through effective, clear and regular communications • Knows how to deal with difficult clients or situations in a diplomatic and solution-oriented manner focusing on the issue and not personalities • Uses editorial judgment to guide and shape creative ideas pitches, and campaigns • Has the ability to see around corners and listens keenly to clients to champion high profile client business goals • Lead by example for internal junior team members • Manages up; knows when to involve senior management and when to handle a situation themself. Business • Strong understanding of agency profitability, building budgets and staff plans that reflect the work required to deliver • Ability to upsell other agency services and skills • Confident in having difficult conversations about scope creep, budgets and services • Ability to lead integrated agency pitches with an internal creative, comms, production and strategy teams Qualifications • 8+ years of experience in comms/account management at a large creative communications agency • Proven experience in managing multiple clients, is comfortable building integrated campaigns and leading diverse teams • Broad range of experience in managing large Comms retainers and complex integrated projects with an earned output • Solid reputation amongst clients, media contacts and agency partners • Demonstrated financial responsibility and management The estimated annual pay range for this role is $130,000 - $140,000.
