Senior Manager, Software Engineering

We work hard, but we have fun. \- Responsible for all technical aspects of the product application lifecycle including, code, infrastructure, data, security, and CICD \- Establishes product engineering and software standards \- Sets vision and drives cultural transformation within the team and across the organization \- Leads technical initiatives across the organization \- Utilizes technical background to coach others through empathy and hands-on mentoring \- Manages a small group of engineers while embedded on a team as an individual contributor \- Balances time between individual contribution and management \- Acquires, retains, and develops top and diverse talent \- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in MIS, Computer Science or related field \- 6+ years of experience in software development \- 2+ years of progressive management experience, developing and attracting diverse teams \- Proven ability to manage multiple competing priorities \- Successful transformation of technical leadership into people leadership \- Advanced in-depth knowledge of application design patterns, event-driven architecture, database schemas, and testing strategies \- Demonstrated experience with large scale application troubleshooting and performance tuning \- Demonstrated experience working with major cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure) \- Advanced in-depth knowledge and experience with continuous integration, continuous deployment, and test driven development
