Senior Manager, Inbound Domestic Transportation

By collaborating with your internal stakeholders, you will develop forecasts and reporting systems to provide seamless sharing of relevant data within the Transportation segment of the Supply Chain. Manage full lifecycle of complex cross-functional programs with considerable impact across multiple organizations Work autonomously in an ambiguous environment, seeking to understand business problems, automation limitations, scaling factors, boundary conditions and reasons behind leadership decisions Provide visibility and key terms of all freight pricing and strategy for small parcel, LTL and FTL Manage freight procurement RFP’s, RFQ’s, and RFI’s for outbound freight Build relationships with project stakeholders including legal, tax, risk management, fulfillment, supply chain, customer service and various business stakeholders that fosters a strong focus on improvement to the delivery experience Develop and implement unified tools and information systems to support freight project planning and execution Develop mechanisms and metrics to track carrier performance related to planning, delivery, quality, and cost Support the creation of carrier scorecards to measure and track performance Facilitate business reviews to discuss best practices and to improve carrier performance while strengthen business partnerships across teams Benchmark rate information versus historic pricing and versus competition Perform supplier spend analysis, including reporting to establish visibility of spend patterns by category, region, and carrier Your Life and Career at Saks OFF 5TH: Be part of an empowered, innovative team; work with an adventurous spirit and a customer-centric mindset; play a critical role in making decisions that will position us to win Exposure to rewarding career advancement opportunities across different functions within our corporate offices, retail stores, photo studios, and distribution centers A culture that promotes a flexible work environment Benefits package for all eligible full-time employees (including medical, dental and vision) An amazing employee discount and other exciting perks Thank you for your interest with Saks OFF 5TH.
