SENIOR INTERNAL COMMUNICATIONS COORDINATOR

Supports internal communication strategies and content that connects to Kohl's company programs and initiatives by evaluating the business need, audience, timing and impact of message Project manages the publication of operational communications in partnership with business partners/stakeholders Facilitates the publication of regularly cadenced curated enterprise-wide emails and content Helps to maintain the internal communications content calendar with an enterprise-wide focus to ensure associates are informed on key business and operational initiatives Drafts communications using AP Style guidelines that leverage the appropriate content and tone Leverages analytics to guide content strategy and pivot plans as needed to ensure objectives are met and exceeded Manages several communication plans and partners at once in a fast-paced environment without sacrificing detail Aligns internal communications timing and content with other company communications where appropriate by creating strong relationships with internal and external communications teams Creatively ideates with and gives clear direction to video and graphic production partners Oversees processes and guidelines for the creative development of associate focused communication materials Monitors industry trends and recommends actions to improve and modernize communications Works with internal partners to evaluate processes to enhance team efficiency Trains new team members on communication process and vehicles Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Communication, Journalism, Marketing 3+ years of related experience Proven project management skills with the ability to multitask without sacrificing detail Effective prioritization and decision-making skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience writing, proofreading and editing communications focused on AP Style Ability to communicate at all levels Solution-oriented problem solver Cross-functional collaborator Experience in a retail environment
