SENIOR HOME & STILLS STYLIST - Terrain

Reports to Sr Art Director Overview The Terrain Stylist works as a critical member of the in-house web photo studio that is responsible for Terrain styling stills/home product photography. The Stylist is skilled in still life product styling and has a strong understanding of larger outdoor lifestyle moments. The stylist will be a key component in building the foundation of our photographic language. Responsibilities Represents Stills studio in weekly style out meetings, communicating studio standards and collaborating with buyers/merch team to fulfill requests Displays a strong sense of composition and how to best communicate the product, also taking initiatives to research and educate oneself on studio styling standards Learns brand standards and displays creativity that maintains brand standards Proactively requests props, or requests to acquire them to ensure that the schedule will not be interrupted or stalled Communicates workflow status and concerns to Manager or Coordinator in a timely manner Proactively prepares product samples and reviews board cards for notes in an efficient manner Clearly communicates retouching needs/requests to the photographer when needed Partners with photographers to deliver informative images to the customer Acts as a team player, supports/ pitches in to help the overall process via—(i.e. studio cleanliness and organization, assisting teammates etc. Qualifications 5 plus years with lifestyle and or ecomm experience Exhibits a strong knowledge of product styling and product needs Exhibits flexibility and ability to adapt to changes quickly Anticipates obstacles, and solves problems pro-actively Contributes ideas or solutions to streamline or enhance process Uses all feedback tools and personnel available to determine best practices and areas of opportunity Identifies trends in styling and generates fresh ideas that can be applied to studio standards Contributes to or maintains an environment that values innovation and ideation by encouraging others, sharing best practices and soliciting input Displays strong work ethic and professionalism as a leader and example to jr peers Takes initiative within the studio to maintain workflow Location Philadelphia, PA
