Senior Fashion Designer

Job Duties • Be able to be independently responsible for the design and development of ready-to-wear beachwear categories including dresses, cover-ups, jumpsuits, tops, swimsuits and all other apparel categories; • Work with Wholesale teams to customize and pitch designs for different accounts, such as Kohl's and Target; • Be familiar with US, CA, EU localized fashion styles and trends, be able to catch fashion trends in color, fabric characteristics, cutting, etc., through a trend and color service, magazines, Pinterest, Pop culture, Books, Museums, and store shopping with destination travel, good at analyzing the consumption needs of targeted customers, and be capable to do product analysis; • Conduct market research, and determine the style design according to the research outcome, follow up with the fabrics, samples, and communicate with the technical department during the whole process; • Have an in-depth understanding of the performance, style, characteristics and cost of fabric and trim, control the budget and coordinate with the purchasing department, and be able to position styles for various targeted customers. Skills & Experience • 8+ years of work experience, degree in fashion design, working or living experience in EU is preferred; • Proficient in fabric knowledge, professional understanding in fabric material characteristics, and be familiar with fabric production process; • Bilingual in English and Chinese is preferred; • Proficient in using ILLUSTRATOR, EXCEL and other software, proficient in AI, Photoshop, PLM system; • Ability to perform under pressure and in fast paced environment, professional working attitude: self-motivated, positive and dependable; • Clear logic, strong learning ability, result-oriented mindset and teamwork spirit.
